G-Plan flush-top drop-leaf table (B836) in what appears to be the oak veneer 'nut brown' finish. In a 'Daily Express' advert 29 Oct 1956 it notes 'two-tones pieces in lustrous brown and black provide a rich warm background for upholstery, books and ornaments'.

This photo appears to be from the same set as GBX06_29,31-33. A duplicate copy of GBX06_29 appears in the 1954/1955 G-Plan 'New Models' folder. The caption in the New Models folder identifies the model number and gives the dimensions as H 2?51/2?, 2?8? x 2?3? closed and 4?6? x 2?8? open. The price was £15.18.6d.
