G-Plan flush-top drop-leaf table (B836) in what appears to be the oak veneer 'nut brown' finish. In a 'Daily Express' advert 29 Oct 1956 it notes 'two-tones pieces is lustrous brown and black provide a rich warm background for upholstery, books and ornaments'.
