Ercol model 391 chair. Advert in 'The Cabinet Maker' 5 July 1957 p. 19 says the 'new' Windsor chair has 'simple lines eloquent of good design, it's wedged through seat legs so firmly anchored. I am happy to tell you that it retails at the low price of 38/6d. Where else could you find such beauty matched with such usefulness in such a low price all purpose chair for the breakfast room, restaurant or kitchen?'
