Page 14 of 1956 G-Plan furniture catalogue showing bedroom with checked chenille bedcover and tartan covered padded headboard and cushion. The bookcase headboard B864 had sliding doors and lift out panels in the lower part for storage. Also shown is dressing table B837 in light oak and dressing chair B808.

This photograph was also used for advertising - see House & Garden April 1954, Sunday Express 21.02.1954, News Chronicle 11.06.1954, Surrey Comet Sept 1954. Also appears in the G-Plan 'New Models' folder for 1954-1955 which notes that the designer was 'VBW'. Date derived from the fact that catalogue includes items made in tola and black, introduced for 1956, but not 'chinese white' introduced in the latter part of that year.
