Text Transcript: Caption on back of photo reads: Building a House Around the Furniture - this is what seems to be happening here! The furniture is in place, but the windows aren't in...ceilings aren't finished...the wiring still to be done...! Whose house is it? What is the name of the man on the ladder? Can you guess? This is the future home of Derek Cope, head of the Interior Design Department of E. Gomme Ltd., (makers of G-Plan furniture). Derek (on the ladder) spends his weekends helping to put his new house together. But already he has planned his furniture...in the L-shaped sitting room, shown here it will be none other than the simple clear cut lines of G-Plan Danish....plus the Most Comfortable Chair in the World.
