Description:
|
Sketch design by Ib Kofod Larsen of three alternative sideboard designs. Type A with 5ft 6in carcase has a cupboard either side of a five drawer centre section. Type B has 5ft carcase, five drawers on the left and a double doored cupboard on the right. Type C is similar but has a fall front above a drawer on the right. The drawing has been amended in ballpoint pen - type B and C have beeen crossed out and the underframe of Type A has been deleted and the comment "With existing underframe" added. Drawing is dated Sept 1961 and numbered 41.

A later drawing (See GBX08_02) shows revised underframe but longer carcase and photograph (GBX01_03) shows the production sideboard which was made in teak with rosewood handles - model no. 4021. Range name is from photograph of this sideboard (GBX01_03).
