This advertisement tackles the difficult problem of the quality of upholstery which is not evident to the consumer. The cut-away illustrates dowelled and tenoned hardwood frame bonded with aircraft plastic adhesive - no butt joints, high tensile strength springs treated against rust (No-Sag springing in the back and tension springs in the seat), and Latex foam rubber cushions.
