Description: B/W film negative showing: Ercol employee using an overhead router to machine and carve a chair part. The part being machined is from the Old Colonial Bergere range. It is possibly the back rail of the Yorkshire armchair, the design of the carving based on a centuries-old motif found on chairs in York Minster.
Notes: Matching contact print for this image is in EPBW02_14_25. This photo appears to be from the same batch as other photos taken by Terry Rand and dating from the early 1960s.
