G-Plan 400C chairs with arms only on one side to create a modular seating group. There was also a settee in this range, but this image appears to show two chairs pushed together. These models could be purchased with arms (see GM08_41) or without arms (B403).

According to Leslie Dandy, the armless version of these chairs were called 'TV Chairs' and were the idea of Leslie Gomme. '1954' is written on the reverse of the print.
