Date based on date of magazine shown in the photograph. Date of magazine is June 1957 - confirmed by email from the Cooper-Hewitt museum. 'Furniture Industries' is written on the negative bag. This table is shown in an advert in 'The Cabinet Maker' 18 July 1958 p. 145. This model does not appear in Ercol catalogues, 1961 onwards. 1961 catalogue shows a similar image with the same props, but a revised model with a lower magazine rack (459).
